The 17th edition of the Commonwealth Bank Classic will begin in Sydney on Saturday October 24. The race will then head north to Newcastle, Nelson Bay and the Central Coast. The return to Sydney will then involve road stages and criteriums. Then the riders head south to the mountains around Wollongong and Nowra. These stages have played an essential role in deciding winners of the Classic in recent years. After the mountains the race heads to the finish in Canberra. On September 21, we will be unveiling the complete 1998 Cycle Classic WWW Site. It will contain all the details of the race and will also bring you updates leading up to the event.
